I teach yoga series and occasional drop-in classes online via zoom Seasonal yoga with wisdom of Ayurvedic self-care woven in to support body, mind and nervous system through changes of seasons and life.
Yoga...on my mat, in nature, my kitchen, on a playground or anywhere else has often been my RESPITE & RESET . My studies of Yoga and Ayurveda paralleled by journey of expanding my family by two through adoption. While many in my yoga teacher training were sharing their long and beautiful morning practices, I was just trying to imperfectly squeeze in what I could. I discovered yin on the floor trying to be still and present while one of my daughters struggled to fall asleep. I discovered the power of sacred presence before sunrise as my youngest daughter woke at 4:15am for the first whole year with us. I did what I could, taking moments to notice breath and move wherever/whenever I could. And when I would get a whole hour in the studio or on my mat, it was divine presence in which I began to unravel so many knots and stories and discover me.
I invite you to show up as you are, maybe kids or grandkids moving around, under or over you. Maybe aging parents sitting near you, maybe a precious and sacred hour by yourself. We believe in the power of community and we practice wisdom on the mat together. breathe, move, connect, rest, return to center...BE
