Go ahead. Count them all. Get the big ones first. The move, the new plate at the table, the diagnosis, the new business horizon, the accident, the death of a loved one, the job that fell through, the child who is struggling, the aging parent…
See if you can add some more - the beginning of a school year, the new boss or business launch, the new relationship….
Take a minute more and think about the transitions in your own body and spirit
- the added worry, the new joy, a change in how you sleep, hormones shifting, the spring in your step or the weight on your shoulders…
Here’s the thing. Our lives are FULL of transitions.
We forget that, I think.
We busy ourselves managing meals, schedules, carpools, and deadlines so much that we forget how life-giving and sometimes life-sucking transitions can be, AND we neglect the body/soul transitions we’re experiencing because we’re so busy keeping everything else together.
I get it! In the past two years, we moved, my husband was diagnosed with stage IV cancer, and my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Those were the biggies. My kids started new schools, my husband went on disability, and (why not?) we got a dog, a rabbit + two and now they are multiplying fast, 4 ducks and 13 chickens.
I have known what it’s like to embrace calm on the yoga mat only to have it evaporate in the swirl of life. I have known what it’s like to organize my physical surroundings even as my mind was cluttered with doubt and anxiety. And I have known the cost of caring for everyone around me while my own body and spirit ached and called out for more.
After we grew our family from three to five through adoption in 2010, I tapped into the smart, savvy, real me and said ENOUGH! Like so many moms I know, somewhere in the juggle of caring for children, managing schedules, and tending to physical and emotional health issues within my family, and running a business, I found myself drifting. I was losing my sense of self.
It didn’t all happen at once. It never does!
But I remember waking up one day and feeling like I just wasn’t centered - like I was so disconnected, and not just from the people around me, but from the “me” I used to be, or wanted to be and really knew I could be.
And that night I made a demand of myself to change it whatever it took. I wanted to enjoy my life and be present in it! I wanted to feel strong, grounded, and ready to show up for me, my family and the planet. I wanted to be the mom and presence my kids needed me to be.
I dove in deep to the ancient healing tradition of Ayurveda, followed by many other trainings, modalities and certifications. .
So I made changes. Some fast, some slow, and some still in progress.
And I began to really live into some very basic, important principles of self-care.
Today I am vigilant (with a lot of grace)
I look at the wild transitions shaping, shifting, and sometimes upending the world around me, and I am like a mama bear for myself.
I am vigilant on my own behalf: I nurture my body. I limit the nonsense. I listen to my spirit. I choose to be more of ME.
I trust the best dreams I can possibly dream for myself. I choose to wonder “what else is possible?”
This is the beginning of a list of "MUSTS" for me, and there are more. And I do them oh so imperfectly, yet they help me THRIVE and stay CONNECTED.
Now here’s what I desire... I want you to trust YOU.
I want you to experience DEEP REST, peace of mind, VIBRANT ENERGY and true connection.
I want you to be FREE OF ANXIETY and experience more EASE, JOY & GRACE as you age and navigate all of life's transitions within and beyond this pandemic and all other events contributing to many unknowns right now.

SPECIAL Q & A FOR mothers.(I am a trauma-informed parent of three through birth and adoption and so many questions on parenting, health, stress, trauma always come up. We'll take time to focus on this specifically for anyone interested.
COURSE CONTENT AND FLOW:
The flow is modeled through our work... We will explore from the context of yoga and Ayurveda, which is my background, as well as energy healing. I bring all of me, my trainings and life experience to the sessions.

We will tap into the fire element and learn how to digest life in order to feel balanced in all of life and it's demands and transitions.
You will learn how to tune into your own biorhythms and use the daily and seasonal rhythms to improved digestion, build immunity, and harness energy.
Learn signs your body might be giving you when there is too much or too little of the fire element and how it affects digestion.
Connect to core--physically and energetically through a variety of practices and meditations you can do on your own anytime.
We will explore energy and emotions, old patterns and what gets in the way while learning about daily purification from various simple practices.

The ancient healing philosophy of Ayurveda invites us to see health as an evolutionary and participatory process. It embraces all aspects of life--physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, spiritual, familial, social, and universal. It’s a matter of listening deep, returning to the elements and restoring balance. And then, there are some of the very mysterious and magical tools of energy healing and energy medicine we will experience in our work together. There is no one size fits all because we all are unique. We will focus on a framework and basic principles rather than a set "to do" checklist. That is how we create sustainable change!

MORE ABOUT THE WORK WE DO TOGETHER & WHY I DO IT...
I work with men and women of all ages and walks of life. However, I specialize in working with smart, savvy women who are parenting or caregiving who are experiencing overwhelm and anxiety as they manage it all.
All of us have experienced what I refer to as life-disrupting moments in past, and maybe you are going through one or more now. It can feel like life is not so easy, especially if you are caring for others in family or community.
I get how life disruptions can get in the way of your own self-nature and weigh you down. Sometimes we are very aware of the big stressful moments in life. Other times, we may tend to brush them off because they seem very insignificant. And maybe we may feel like we let something go, but there is some part of it still stuck in the physical body or energetic body. We keep looping back to old habits, patterns, ways of thinking and being...beliefs. Its frustrating.
Regardless of how big or small traumatic events are--all require "full digestion"--just like our food requires digestion, absorbing and assimilation.
The ancient healing wisdom of Ayurveda has stood the test over time. The daily habits known as "dinacharya" are powerful and within the basic principles is freedom to find ways that it works for you so you can BE more of YOU! I like to think of it as a daily purification, detoxification or simply letting yesterday go so we can show up for TODAY.
When we get some basic body care habits down and begin to nourish our body, listen to our body and truly BE in it and BE PRESENT with all that is...amazing shifts and self-healing can happen. It brings us to the unconditional self-love most truly desire. Release guilt, shame, blame, fear, no enoughness....these habits are a judgment detox if you allow them to be.
It doesn't take a lot of time, or energy. It is work. You need to show up and take ACTION. I'm here to support you in that journey.
I have studied and trained in many areas, yet I see the greatest gift I bring to this work with women is life experience and experiencing life with others.
