​I get a little vulnerable in here about shame, guilt and not enough as I grew my family through from 3 to 5 through adoption and some of my big awarenesses when I celebrated my last birthday.

One of the areas I play in is that of "trauma-informed parenting" as an adoptive parent.  I value the research and am often asking "and what else is possible" when I feel some things come up in our family.  Many of the public and partnership conversations fall under the topic of "self-care" and these are a few resources created to support foster/adoptive parents but are available to anyone and practical for all.
