Spring rarely arrives all at once.

The days warm up, then cool again.  Slowly light lingers a little longer with each day.  The earth softens under the sun, even while there's a chill beneath the surface.

These fluctuations are what encourage new life to emerge–sprouts from the earth while sap moves in the trees and buds appear on branches.

Ayurveda teaches that something similar is happening within us.

After winter, the body begins to melt, loosen and move what has been stored.  We may feel congestion, heaviness, fatigue, allergy symptoms or a bit of mental fog as the season shifts.  Sometimes a dull ache in joints and muscles.  

At the same time, many of us are already holding a lot — caring for others, navigating change, or simply feeling the weight of uncertainty.

            That’s a lot for a body to carry. 
 


You might feel inspired by spring, but sense your body and mind haven't caught up. 

The body — especially the female body — needs deep nourishment to support the nervous system, hormones, heart, and spirit through any transition. The seasonal changes are no different. 

Nature doesn’t rush or force the season awake.  
   It unfurls slowly. 

Because we are nature, our bodies crave and benefit from the same rhythm.  

Rather than forcing change with harsh practices or protocols, Ayurveda invites us to support this transition gently and steadily.

In this 90-minute live class, we experience: 
  • How seasonal changes influence the body and nervous system  
​
  •   Why spring can feel both energizing and depleting
​​
  •   A gentle embodied practice — breath, movement, yin yoga and energy exercises — to support the body’s natural processes of clearing, restoring, and replenishing​

***Simple seasonal Ayurvedic wisdom and daily rituals will be woven throughout, supporting nourishment for body, mind, senses, and soul.
​
***You’ll want space to move comfortably with optional props like blankets,  pillows or blocks to support longer, restorative  holds. 

Spring is a natural moment to clear, replenish, and begin again.

You don’t need a shock to the system. 
Like nature, the body can unfurl slowly.
